The Oracle has been the voice of the NSCHS Spartans since 1963, winning numerous awards in its over 50 years of existence for both editorial content and design. The Oracle is an entirely student-produced publication, and is read by staff members, students and their families, district employees, and by various community members.

With a diverse student population and a wide-ranging audience, The Oracle covers on-campus and off-campus news, entertainment, and sports events. The newspaper also highlights our school’s accomplishments, and provides a place for students to voice opinions.

In 2014, The Oracle continued its tradition of innovation by going digital. This website is now the full-time home of The Oracle.

As you can imagine, we incur many costs throughout the school year to ensure the high quality of our publication. What you might not know is that The Oracle is entirely self-funded; we receive no money from the school. All our costs are paid for through the generous support of our sponsors and the patronage of our advertisers.

If you’ve made it this far, we need your help. We’re being held against our will in a room the size of a walk-in closet. We each get one peanut butter sandwich every three days. The only sunlight we get is from a hole Jacob poked in the wall. Please save us.

Sponsors can donate any amount of money to our publication; we would also like to ask sponsors to consider donating unused technology items to us.

Please consider sponsoring The Oracle with a donation. The North Springs student community deserves to have its voice heard; as our school celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, it is more important than ever to communicate our students’ achievements with the world.
