Serving Time in Sandy Springs

Have you been procrastinating on your community service hours? Have you made a resolution to contribute to the community more? You may be in luck.

Leadership Sandy Springs is hosting their annual Volunteer for a Better Sandy Springs community service day project on April 25, 2015, form 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. On this day local non-profits and schools will have projects on their site that vary from landscaping, cleaning, organizing, and designing.

With previous VBSS days, Leadership Sandy Springs have received over $350,000 worth of materials and volunteer hours. Some of the sites that hold projects includes Big Trees Forest Preserve, Community Assistance Center. Island Ford Park, Woodland Elementary School, North Springs Charter High School, Sandy Springs Library, and more.
