This past Friday, October 3rd, North Springs Spartans took on Kell High School. The outcome of the game was 55-14 Kell. Even though the outcome wasn’t what the team wanted, North Springs played really hard and strong. Kell is number three in division 5A, with a record of 6-0 and in their region, region 5A, they are 3-0.

North Springs had a wonderful and spirited crowd on Friday. The theme for the game was a USA theme, and the majority of students came out to support the team donning American flags and patriotic clothes. “A lot of people came out, and everyone was so spirited! I look forward to Fridays, because I know I get to come out to support my school,” said Cameron Duke, a 10th grader.

North Springs record so far this year is 0-5. The Spartans play the Riverwood Raiders this upcoming Friday, October 10th, at home. The theme for this upcoming week is pink out, representing breast cancer awareness. The Riverwood Raiders are North Springs’ biggest rival and the game looks to be a challenge for the Spartans because of Riverwood’s 4-2 record.
