A new bowling alley has recently opened in the Sandy Springs area called Stars and Strikes. They advertise events for every age group, offering two types of bowling, a full arcade, laser tag, a laser maze, and a grille.
The bowling alley is located less than a five minute drive north on Roswell Road from North Springs, making it conveniently close for students. Stars and Strikes will also be the location for the first annual Spartan Bowl hosted by the Spartan Athletic Booster Club, where NS sports teams can go head to head on Saturday April 26.
Jack Canouse and Chris Albano are the founders of Stars and Strikes. They decided to open up a safe environment where children around the Metro Atlanta area could go to have fun and hang out with the friends. In June 2005, they opened their first location in Cumming, then followed by Lawrenceville, Dallas, Stone Mountain and their most recent location in Sandy Springs that opened up in December of 2013.
One of their special features is “The Blue Room” which offers a private bowling experience. It includes 8 private bowling Lanes, a LED light show, 100 foot HD video wall, a private full service bar, and a lounge area.
The arcade includes games ranging from giant arcade versions of Doodle Jump and Fruit Ninja to motorcycle and car racing simulation games. The “Lazer Maze” is a timed game where your mission is to navigate the maze without breaking a laser beams – the faster you complete the maze, the better.
710 Grille is another one of their hit features. It is a restaurant conveniently located inside the bowling alley, offering anything from brick oven pizza to gourmet burgers.
Stars and Strikes Sandy Springs offers so many fun opportunities right here in our area. Their other locations are in Cumming, Lawrenceville, Dallas, and Tucker/Stone Mountain GA; Sandy Springs is the newest of the five spots.
