For all high school students, note that most SAT II Subject Tests are offered on the remaining May and June testing dates from the College Board. It is sensible to take a subject test directly after you’ve taken a related course, e.g. the U.S. History subject test at the conclusion of an AP U.S. History course, while the material is fresh in your mind.
Even if a school you’re interested in doesn’t require them, SAT Subject Tests can demonstrate your knowledge in a topic area, and some colleges can offer course credit or exemptions if you meet certain score thresholds.
On May 3, the following SAT II subject tests are offered:
- U.S. History
- Mathematics Level 2
- Mathematics Level 1
- Biology E/M
On June 7, the following exams are offered, in addition to all of the exams offered in May:
- World History
- Modern Hebrew
